Where Is Your Happy Place?

Whether it is just going there in our minds, each of us needs a happy place to dream of and go to whenever we can. Even though a beach where I can take my dog is nearly two hours away, I make a point of visiting the beach as often as I can. It is important to visit different places to enjoy the contrast from the mundane. For me, 92 miles is a whole lot closer than it was where I grew up in Toronto and I appreciate the fact that I can make a round-trip to the beach in one day. It is important to invest in ourselves on a daily basis.

Going to our happy place daily in our mind can help us relieve stress, dream bigger and soothe our mind-body and spirit. Even planning a vacation can bolster your happiness even if you don’t take the vacation.
